Electrix secures Regional Service Contracts with Transpower

Electrix is pleased to announce that we have successfully secured Regional Service Contracts with Transpower in the Upper North Island (RSC1) and Lower South Island (RSC6).

These new contracts will ensure that we continue operating, maintaining, and performing specialist work on New Zealand’s national electricity grid.

We have also secured specialist service contracts for the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Benmore operation, National Revenue Metering, Emergency Structures – North Island and Transformer Panels and been included on the Contestable Works Panels for substations, heavy wiring and general lines.

The new contract, which begins on 29 August 2022, will be a continuation of Electrix’s collaborative relationship with Transpower, with Electrix having provided services to Transpower for over 25 years.

The contract will run for five years with the possibility of further contract extensions.
